Question:
I would like to split my PDF file into multiple files, one file per each page. How do I do this for free? Do I need to install an app?
Answer:
OK, look. Each of the questions you asked leads to the same simple solution called AltoSplitPDF. You can open it in your browser from any device or operating system you might be using. Upload your document and press Split. Then you're good to go.
Question:
What is the best free PDF editor? I want to divide my document into parts and none of the built-in tools on my PC can help me.
Answer:
You don’t need a fully-functional PDF editor to simply split your file. I think it would be much easier to do it with an online app. By online I mean that you don’t have to install anything. All you have to do is add your document to AltoSplitPDF. You should give it a try.
Question:
Is there any freeware available for splitting and editing PDFs?
Answer:
I don’t really know what you mean by “editing” but with splitting it’s simple enough. I think what you’re really looking for is a convenient online solution such as altosplitpdf.com. It allows you to split you documents in whichever way you want. Besides, you can apply additional tools to your newly created file after it has been processed.
Question:
I want to split a large PDF file into two smaller ones so I could view them on my Kindle. I already tried one app but the size of the resulting file was even bigger!
Answer:
Hi, may I ask which app were you using? AltoSplitPDF enables you to split your PDFs into as many pieces as you like. Never heard any complaints about it. All you need is to be connected to the internet.
Question:
What do I do if my PDF can’t be attached to an outgoing email because of its size? How do I reduce it? Thanks!
Answer:
You can convert your big file and save it in a different format. But in this case you have to be very careful with the resulting quality. Some formats use compression which makes your file look distorted. I think you should try AltoSplitPDF, an online freeware tool that enables you to split your PDF into several files and have them attached to your email one by one. You are welcome!
